Tell the Hon. Gabrielle Upton Minister for the Environment that it is time to honour the Deed of Agreement for the transfer of Shane’s Park and the Sydney Growth Centres approval which dedicates this site as a public reserve.

Ask that the entire site including adjacent Growth Centre offsets be gazetted as Nature Reserve in line with its outstanding wildlife values and disturbance-sensitive species.

Tell the Hon. Greg Hunt MP Federal Minister forthe Environment that the Deed of Agreement for the transfer of Shane’s Park must be for the entire site without a freeway easement, as per the Deed of Agreement and the Sydney Growth Centres approval.

Tell the Growth Centers’ Commission that the Marsden Park Industrial Precinct Environmental Conservation lands – the eastern part of the Shane’s Park remnant – should be incorporated in the future Nature Reserve. Tell them that a minimum 25 m buffer of open space is needed between the Shane’s Park remnant and the Marsden Park North precinct to allow for fire & weed management and to buffer the effects of development from sensitive wildlife.

Tell the Hon. Anthony Roberts that the entire Shanes Park property was promised to the people of NSW for the conservation of wildlife as an offset for the clearing of vast areas of western Sydney's last remaining woodlands. Ask him to honour the Growth Centres approval conditions by revoking the freeway easement interest on the site.
